If you're experiencing slow email downloads, this is often due to a slow internet connection or large email attachments. Here’s how to resolve the issue:

  1. Use IMAP for Email Downloads
    Try downloading your emails using IMAP. This method helps manage emails with large attachments since attachments will not download automatically. This is a common issue with POP3, which can slow down your email experience.

     You can also access your emails through webmail by visiting yourdomain.com/webmail or webmail.yourdomain.com to check which emails are currently trying to download. Consider deleting any large emails with attachments over 5MB after reviewing them via webmail.
  2. Check Your Internet Connection
    Assess the speed of your local internet connection. If you’re facing issues, contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for further assistance. Ensure that no other downloads are occurring simultaneously, as this can affect your email download speed.
